1. University of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka is the oldest university in Bangladesh and the second largest university in the country. It was established as a private university on 23 November 1921.
It has a total of 22 faculties, including 38 departments, and 16 affiliated colleges with about 36,000 students enrolled in undergraduate courses. The university offers postgraduate courses through 12 departments and 11 affiliated colleges with about 3,000 students enrolled.
